What to track
- Locations: name, type, first appearance, rules, current status

- Timeline events: chapter, event, affected characters, continuity impact
Why it matters for serials
Serial fiction creates continuity pressure. You publish as you go, readers remember details, and every new chapter adds more state to manage. A tracker helps you avoid changing rules by accident.
